Search Engine Friendly Web Design
|
Now that you've sorted out your keyword rich web site content you need to attach it to a search engine friendly design and structure.
It has often been said that search engines prefer "Big Dumb and Ugly" sites. And the reason "Big, Dumb and Ugly" sites usually do well on search engine listings is because the navigation structure is so simple and there are no "bells and whistles" such as flash, dynamic content, etc... BDU sites usually load very quickly, have few or no graphics and have a lot of keyword rich text. So if you simply take the BDU site's main attractions as the engines see them: simple navigation, fast loading pages, lots of keyword rich html text and use them to develop a professionally designed web site you will achieve good listings without the site having to be BDU.
